Australia’s Reel Gauntlet is the most engaging fishing competition to ever hit the water! Fish for your state as you and your teammates strive to become the Australian Champions... and maybe even pick up one of three available prizes: your states Golden Rod Champion Angler prize for the year, valued around $2K: or the Australian Lucky Angler prize of $2K CASH (thanks to Women’s Recreational Fishing League) which is awarded to one competing angler who uploads a legitimate scoring fish through our app — League or Gauntlet; or even the $10K* CASH PRIZE for the angler who scores the most points through our app (WRFL or Gauntlet categories) in the 2025 Season!

*The final prize value will be determined using a sliding scale based on the total number of competitors, with a maximum prize value of AUD $10,000. Final prize details, including the confirmed amount, will be announced at the completion of the general rounds of Australia’s Reel Gauntlet on 30 June each year and published on the competition’s website.
